The Businessman and The Dimond

He is a businessman. 

He aspired to become a big businessman in the future. 

But because he did not plan and act properly, he had to face huge losses. 

Deeply worried, he did not want to go home, so he left the town and went to a secluded river bank. 

There he sat on the sand of the river in the soft moonlight and let his memories run away. 

The misery of losing business weighed on him. 

He was drowning in agony as he recounted how his partners had betrayed him and strangled him. 

On the other hand, future concerns such as how we are going to continue doing business... 

how we are going to run our family. 

It was because of this thought that he took the small stones from the river sand without knowing him and threw them into the river. 

Thus he sat there that whole night. 

The dawn has begun! The light spread. 

He ran out of stones to throw into the river. 

He looked at the last stone in his hand. Amazed. 

Because it is no ordinary pebble. 

Expensive diamond. 

Some robbers left the diamonds they had looted on the river bank and ran away.

 He has thrown them in the dark without knowing what they are. 

In a sense, many of us are like that merchant. 

We are wasting the diamond of the present by floating in memories of the past and the future.
